Just Ask God.

Dear Partner,
Why sit around and wonder, when you can just ask God? Sounds simple but it is very true. Sometimes we don’t just ask God because of a lack of knowledge in the body of Christ. Whether someone is a new believer, or even someone who has been a Christian for a long time yet are still struggling with believing that God will answer their questions, or they just haven’t had quality bible-based teaching. Or some may wonder if God will even answer them—yet wonder if they’ll even clearly recognize His soft voice.
A lot of the time it can be obvious on what choices we should make, where we should go and what we should do. But that is not always the case. Once you get saved and come to know who you are in Christ Jesus, there will be times, in the natural, where you just don’t know what you should do. But THANK GOD it doesn’t have to stay that way. JUST ASK GOD!
The very first step of being on the right path to getting answers is by simply believing what God said in His WORD. If He said He will supply ALL of your needs, then He will (Philippians 4:19). If He said you are already the healed by the stripes of Jesus, then you are (1 Peter 2:24). These are just a couple of “obvious” promises to stand on and there are also many other scriptures just like these in various categories as well, regarding peace, relationships, do’s and don’ts and so on.
But there will be times in life when you do not know what the exact “next step” is. You may have found yourself camping out in the “unknown” with questions such as “Where do I go?” “What do I do?” “Which job should I take?” Should I stay or should I leave?” “Does God wants me healed?” These are just a few examples of question and wonder when there seems to be a fork in the road and you’re not certain which way to go.
And that is where the wisdom of God steps in! But it has to be asked for and sought out, searched out in the WORD of God. You see, this is where we find out how bad we really want it. It’s not in the “obvious” things, it’s when we have to search, seek, knock, ask and pray it out that we discover how far we are willing to go to live the GOD-KIND of life that He has planned for us. If we want to prosper spiritually, physically, and financially……then we must PUT IN THE WORK! And we do that by PUTTING GOD AND HIS WORD ULTIMATELY FIRST.
In John 10:27 Jesus said it himself….
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.
-You are saved.
-You are His sheep.
-You know His voice.
-You follow Jesus.
It’s. That. Simple.
If HE said that, then throw away the “struggling with hearing His voice” into the garbage can and then just simply say this……”Jesus, I am your sheep, You said your sheep hear your voice….AND I AGREE! I agree with you! By FAITH, I….KNOW….YOUR….VOICE! AND I FOLLOW YOU!” Then GET IN HIS WORD and EXPECT to hear from Him…….CLEARLY! And watch what happens.
So if you need His wisdom, JUST ASK FOR IT.
James 1:5-6 says this…..
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
The debate is over. We just read it.
We are His sheep. He talks to us. We know His voice. We follow Him.
We ask for His wisdom concerning the situation. We stick it out IN FAITH, readily expecting to hear and receive His wisdom. HALLELUJAH!
