BUILD YOURSELF UP
Dear Partner,
Did you know that if you constantly build yourself up and pray in the spirit that God will lead you and you’ll constantly know what to do and see amazing results? Not only that, you’ll also see the Lord keep you safe! Two major, major keys are, never stop building yourself up and never stop encouraging yourself. Ever felt like you can’t get ahead? God made a way for us to “get ahead.”
Feeding on the WORD of God and building up your spirit will put you ahead of a situation. Faith will cause you to get out front and on top of it, even before you see anything change with your eyes. But what does that look like? When this happens, you’ll reach a point where God’s spirit will bear witness within your spirit that something just changed for your good. The next part is, just stay in faith with a smile on your face. This confidence is a manifestation from the presence and direction of God.
Jude 1:20 NKJV says….
20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
Our holy faith, when built up, keeps us in a place of safety. This is why although a weapon that was created and formed against us, won’t prosper. Because of the Lord’s safety and wisdom for us. We are kept safe by the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Prospering, is being kept safe by the Lord Himself. Safe; spiritually, mentally, physically and financially. It’s our job to feed on His WORD, and build ourselves up. Encouraging ourselves on a daily basis is God’s will. I mean, thank God that He’ll send someone to lift us up, but we don’t have to wait for someone to “give us a word” in order to feel better. God made a way for us to encourage ourselves. (1 Samuel 30:6). How many times have we waited for encouragement, or even prayed for it, yet God, while sitting on His throne, was simply just waiting on us to get up and encourage ourself? I’d say the answer is many times for all of us at some point.
Building ourselves up on our most holy faith, by praying in the Holy Spirit, praying in other tongues, is how we maintain a life of peace, safety and tranquility. As I often say and minister, “It literally keeps us in step with the Lord.” It’s how we constantly know what to do, on a literal day to day basis. How can we know that what we are doing, is right? Go to the one who is never wrong!
Romans 8:14 NKJV……
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
The spirit of God will lead you through your prayer life. And when you pray in the Holy Ghost, the Lord can reveal things and instructions to you, and His huge peace, inside you, will be all over it. That’s Him leading you. And then, to put icing on the cake, sometime after that happens, He’ll also use someone or something, to confirm what He told you and the peace He gave you! Now that’s Godly!
Mark 16:20 NKJV
20 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.
The Lord uses signs to confirm His words to us. Why does He do this? God is love. He is our Father. He loves to encourage us. Even after He already spoke to us, gave us a WORD or instruction, He will still, come through with a sign to encourage us. This is one the ways He expresses Himself towards us regarding His love for us. It’s like a constant love-push of encouragement that says “See, I am with you. You got this. This is me. I am here. I am leading you. You are my child and I love and care for you and I want you to know that I am close to you. Every step of the way. Just stay close to me, okay?”
It doesn’t have to be every now and then that you have this…….
We can LIVE like this, all the time! So the real questions are;
How often will you build yourself up?
How often are you willing to pray in the Holy Ghost?
How often will you ask Him for instructions?
Don’t seek a sign. Seek God. Don’t even go looking for signs. Just stay very, very close to God and keep building up yourself on your most holy faith, praying in the spirit and when He is ready to reveal a sign, oh He will, and it may not be when you expect it! That definitely adds a thrill!
