The God-kind of Peace
Dear Partner,
We can’t receive the God-kind of peace without having a revelation of Jesus’ words. We have to meditate on Jesus’ words in order for His words to get down on the inside of our spirit-man and take root. Jesus’ words are seeds.
Remember that………Jesus’ words are seeds.
And seeds can not be planted in deeply until the soil has been tilled first. Til the soil of your heart by meditating on the word of God. And when you do, that word (seed) will go deeper and deeper down on the inside of you. How much time you spend meditating on the word determines how deep that seed gets in you. The deeper that seed (word) is in you, the harder it is for the enemy, satan, to steal that word from you. Feeling like you’re tired of being easily moved by the attacks and distractions of satan? Meditating on the word more will cause you to not respond the way you used to, because of the word (seed) that’s been deeply planted in you through much meditation. The more you meditate, the easier it is to see growth. What you do and say, and how you react exposes what you’ve been meditating on or where you have not been meditating. You’ll know what someone has allowed to be planted in them…..by what they do and what comes out of their mouth.
Peace, real peace, comes from Jesus. It doesn’t come from your job, family, the family you were born into, the side of town you were raised in, how much money is in your bank account, the doors that opened for you, etc. No, because real peace, perfect peace, can only come from God alone. The peace that Jesus has for us is the perfect peace that will never leave us, and His peace can forever satisfy our souls. Can you honestly say that after you think about what you recently went through and what you are currently going through at the moment……..that you have PERFECT peace right now? I want you to take a few minutes to stop, and encourage you to give yourself an honest evaluation……..
Ok, now that you’re back and you say that your answer is no, that you’ve actually not had ABSOLUTE perfect peace, I want to share with you exactly how to get it and watch it manifest from the inside out. Are you ready?
In John 14:25-27 Jesus said….
25 I am telling you these things now while I am still with you.
26 But when the Father sends the Advocate (comforter) as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.
27 “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.
See, in verse 27 Jesus said “And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”
Remember this:
• The world can provide temporary peace that will always run out.
• The Jesus provides EVERLASTING PERFECT PEACE that’ll never run out.
Notice Jesus said in that same verse, “peace of mind and heart.” How is that? What you meditate on will eventually get down in your heart. And what you get down in your heart is what will come out of your mouth and life. (Luke 6:45)
The reason how Jesus can give us a peace that the world cannot give us is because the peace that Jesus has for us is perfect, because He is perfect. The God-kind of peace can never be broken. It’s not arrogant, it’s trust. Trusting in the one who can never change, never fail, trusting in the one who can never take back a single word that He ever said. (Psalm 89:34).
God’s perfect peace is the vehicle He provided for us to coast through trials without having to be moved. God’s perfect peace is the vehicle He provided for us to live a life of tranquility and enjoy the life He’s given us.
How do we access His perfect peace?
Isaiah 26:3-4 KJV……
3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
4 Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:
The key to accessing God’s perfect peace is to keep your thoughts fixed on God, His words and His promises. Doing so will result in meditation, and that mediation will result in manifestation of you walking in the perfect peace God provided!
It’s very important to pray the word of God. With that said I want to share with you one of my daily prayers. This is one of the prayers I pray every single day over myself, family, and my ministry partners.
Praying in power, is praying the scriptures, word from word.
The Prayer:
Father God, you are the Lord of peace and you give me peace at all times and in every situation and you are with me. I do all that I can to live in peace with everyone and in my relationships. I allow and receive the peace of mind and heart. I won’t be troubled or afraid. And because I trust in you and my thoughts are always fixed on you, you give me perfect peace. I trust in you always, for you are my God, the eternal Rock. In Jesus name, amen.
